Wrap-Up

The day ends with Group Time, where CC youth gather to listen to thoughtfully selected picture books that expand vocabulary and invite reflection. Many choose to fingerbraid, sketch, or quietly build as they listen.

We close with Appreciations—a daily ritual that nurtures gratitude, builds confidence in public speaking, and provides Facilitators insight into what resonated with youth throughout the day. This shared practice fosters belonging, self-expression, and a culture of noticing the good.
